Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Tutoring experience a plus, and knowledge of SPED policies and processes and experience with special needs students in preferred.

Comments and Other Information The candidate for this Instructional Aide position will have an understanding of students with special needs with a minimum of first aid training prior to beginning of employment. The candidate will work with a student in instructional practices, curriculum, outside activities, physical education, electives and recess. Candidates must be patient, kind, friendly, observant, able to keep good documentation, and collaborate with teachers and parent. See job description for list of duties and responsibilities.
