A high school diploma or equivalent; two years of higher education/Associate’s Degree or higher, or passage of a district academic assessment test; one year experience or work involving contact with children, preferably including knowledge of subject matter taught in the classroom. Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the job, including the ability to bend, stoop, lift and assist students in emergency situations.

Relieves teacher of routine clerical and authorized instructional duties; other related work as assigned. ANY OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT IS SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK ($71.00 payable by applicant), A PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL EXAMINATION, INCLUDING DRUG SCREENING (at District expense), AND A NEGATIVE TUBERCULOSIS TEST.
