As a Senior Area Vice President - Operations, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Is responsible for positive financial, clinical, and operational results of the Personal Care Service organization, and for quality of services provided to our Hospice patients.
  • Provides direction, leadership and support to Personal Care Service leaders, Administrators and Clinical managers to support the mission, budget, and quality expectations of the organization. Will partner with hospice senior leadership team to execute on Tier I metrics around compliance and quality.
  • Partners with sales leadership to drive appropriate business, diagnoses segment mix to ensure the highest standard eligibility, CTI and IDG processes.
  • Interacts with employees, peers, the Administrative Clinical department, Corporate, and Executive staff in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.
  • Creates and maintains an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.
  • Attends and participates at Agency organized functions which relate to community and public awareness.
  • Interacts with varied human behavior and responses, maintaining control while providing direction during stressful situations.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the agency’s organizational strategic planning activities and budget.
  • Reports on analysis of findings for progress of strategic plans and other strategic dashboards.
  • Provides oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, clinical protocols, forms, quality improvement monitors, service programs, and other components of program infrastructure every year and as needed.
  • Directs all aspects of organization in accordance with the mission and values of agency, legal and regulatory requirements, payer and accreditation standards, customer expectations and agency policy.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the ancillary department(s) assigned department, to the direct reports responsible for auditing, including compliance with documentation content.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, organizational development or related field is required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in organizational development
  • 7+ years’ experience in healthcare, hospice experience preferred.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a leadership/management role.
  • Current state RN license is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% to meet business needs

You will report to the Regional Vice President.
