Job Description:

The position will be part of the Human Machine Interface Division (HMID) Silicon development department with focus on specification, implementation and verification of the touch controllers needed for the next generation touch products.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Digital design and verification at module- and chip-level
  • Digital IP feasibilities, specification, and documentation
  • Support of successful product release to mass production

Support other functions with technical expertise: Marketing, Applications, Software and Product/Test.

Contribute to Microchip’s Global Technical development.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD within Electrical Engineering or related fields with acceptable results OR proven record within these fields.

Experience

No experience required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experienced in digital and/or chip level design and verification.
  • Experienced in Verilog, TCL, and Python programming languages.

For personal development and other technical skills required for the position Microchip will provide training and a personal development plan.

Special requirements

Fluent in written and oral English.

Some travel might be required.
