ABBOTT CORE DIAGNOSTICS IS LOOKING FOR An ASSISTANT AREA FP&A Manager (M/F/D)

Reporting to the Area Controller, EEMEAP Core Diagnostics

You will provide financial counsel and support for EEMEAP senior management and support regions/countries in their day-to-day. You will act as the financial liaison between Area FP&A, Regions and Commercial Excellence teams, responsible for sales forecasts, consolidations, benchmarking, and profitability analysis. Will act as the primary point of contact for designated regions, for full visibility of the specific key markets and their inherent dynamics.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support Planning, Reporting and Analysis consolidation process for EEMEAP countries
• Support financial IBP process for EEMEAP countries.
• Support review and analysis of monthly financial results.
• Develop transparent analysis tools for the Area to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes to support business decisions
• Commercial Excellence organizations primary support contact to provide in depth analysis and sales/instrument demand tracking for EEMEAP.
• Expert on all financial reporting systems across EEMEAP (incl. Symphony, PARIS, Cognos) to optimize FP&A tools for the whole area.
• Talent development - Responsible for training, where appropriate of Finance and Commercial staff.
• Ensure professional support for Hub / Genpact shared service responsibilities.
• Create and maintain a system of controls, implementing/monitoring Abbott policies and procedures.
• Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance. Master´s degree in business or finance desirable or other Professionally recognized Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW)
• 4-7 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Controlling
• Advanced MS Office knowledge, Cognos knowledge, SAP knowledge
• Be accepted as a partner, show assertiveness and the ability to work under pressure, overcomes barriers within own organization, peer organization and virtual organization.
• Ability to build strong relationships at every level of the organization and to work in a matrix structure
• High result and process orientation.
