Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Our location in Boston, MA currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Representative. This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in office settings throughout the New England market.

TERRITORY

• The ideal candidate will be based out Boston/Central MA. Can be flexible based on experience.
• This territory includes MA, RI, ME, NH, VT
• Some overnight travel may be required
• This position does not offer relocation. Local candidates only, please.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each physician’s office service area for Similac, PediaSure and Pedialyte.
• Calling on Pediatric, OB Gyn and Family Practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
• New product launches.
• The ability to work effectively with Physicians and Nurses.
• Effective administrative skills.
• Budget management.
• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

• Bachelor's degree required
• The ideal candidate will be technically knowledgeable with a minimum of two years sales experience and/or “industry” experience (medical/pharmaceutical sales experience). In the absence of sales experience, a Nutrition background/Clinical experience a plus.

The base pay for this position is

$56,700.00 – $113,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
