Description:

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Housekeeping Aide to join our Housekeeping team.

The Housekeeping Aide responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe health care environment by daily cleaning and supplying of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, departments and other assigned areas.

  • Perform required cleaning and housekeeper functions in assigned area
  • Executes proper cleaning procedures and demonstrates efficient, cost effective and safe use of housekeeping equipment. 
  • Performs other special housekeeping and Environmental Services assignments in a team environment.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • 20 hours, 11am 3pm- – Rotating Weekends

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or (GED) preferred; or one to three months’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. 
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
