Position Purpose:

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Cook to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department. The position is responsible for preparing food items for patients, cafeteria and catering.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Two years of experience in food production required.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare food in accordance with established menus, recipes, nutrition guidance and sanitary/safety standards.
  • Anticipate levels of doneness and produce a high degree of aesthetics in the preparation of food.
  • Safely clean and operate all equipment and food preparation areas.
  • Follow procedure, direction, production sheets, recipes, cleaning lists and any other assigned duties, providing exceptional service to customers.
