The Opportunity

As the key strategic business partner and the Market Insights leader for performance analytics (including Similac, Ensure, Pedialyte and other retail brands) you will have the opportunity to directly impact growth in rapidly growing markets. In this role you will influence strategic decisions across all areas of the business and guide a team of business leaders responsible for performance diagnosis and analytics.

What You’ll Work On

  • Serve as subject matter expert for performance analytics in the following areas: Media Mix and related modelling approaches, retail trade promotion performance, Nielsen and retail consumption reporting,
  • Establish common reporting and analytics approaches to diagnose retail performance in partnership with brand teams.
  • Manage high-visibility brand performance assessments delivered to Abbott leadership
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts and managers supporting all Abbott Nutrition US brands.
  • Clearly articulate learnings and influence senior leadership

Candidate must be visionary, analytical, resourceful, and detail orientated. Proven track record of excelling in fast-paced environments and being able to manage cross-functionally stakeholders while developing a team of analytics professionals.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business or statistics required. Master’s preferred
  • 10 or more years of retail performance reporting and/or retail consumption analytics preferred. Cross-functional experience preferred. 
  • Detail orientation. Deep experience leveraging consumption data (Nielsen, Panel Data).
  • Strong presentation and synthesis skills, including fluency with Microsoft Office and PowerBI. R or Python also a plus.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and modeling
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and work effectively with multiple teams with proven ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Can organize and lead cross functional teams. Demonstrated track record of managing budgets and external relationships.

The base pay for this position is

$118,000.00 – $236,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
