The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently looking for a highly motivated Mid-level Factory Finance Estimator to join the team in North Charleston, SC.

Our team is looking for a candidate that is motivated and able to work on their own without supervision. You will be working with Data Analytics, Business Case Development and performing make/buy decisions. The team is a total of 5 and works together to support each other in all adventures. We support all Commercial Productions Systems.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program
  • Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices
  • Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
  • Develops estimating and pricing methods
  • Evaluates and develops business cases
  • Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, Return on Investment (ROI), etc.)
  • Develops and maintains pricing models
  • Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements
  • Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
  • Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data and making recommendations to take appropriate actions based on findings or doing business case analysis (ie. ROI, Cost/Benefit)
  • 3+ years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects
  • 3+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in a technical, operational or manufacturing environment with the ability to translate that knowledge into financial opportunities
  • Ability to use advanced analytical/business intelligence tools/methods to provide simple financial solutions to complex issues

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $84,150 – $106,000
