Senior Manager, Global Programmatic Leader Enablement
Who You Are:
We are looking for a dynamic and multi-faceted person to join our Talent Excellence Organization to lead our Global Programmatic Leader Enablement function. Over the past year, our sales transformation strategy has shifted significantly to focus on Programmatic Sales in a Leading motion. Our FLMs have new job requirements that necessitate more coaching and development on how they lead their teams, manage their business, onboard new sellers, and develop early-in-career talent. The ideal candidate will own the design, development, and deployment of a global onboarding program and continuous development program for new and existing leaders in GVSE. Supporting our leaders and helping them be as successful and happy as possible is a mission critical business imperative. This is an individual contributor role, which could grow into leading a small team.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the global Programmatic Leader Enablement function.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our leaders (FLMs, Directors, Leaders) from Hire to Retire (moving into roles outside of GVSE)
- This includes:
- Developing the FLM competencies and development plan
- Creating an end-to-end leader blueprint in partnership with sales leaders, strategy + planning, enablement teams
- Working closely with regional enablement leads on adoption of our global programs, ensuring global consistency
- Driving overall adoption of plan and programs
- Creating and executing leader onboarding in coordination with our global programmatic sales onboarding lead
- Coaching and mentoring FLMs through onboarding, continuous learning, and change management
- End-to-end talent and retention strategy for FLMs
- Leader rewards and recognition
- Success metrics, benchmarks, and reporting
- Coordinating leader talent initiatives with broader Cisco programs and initiatives
Primary Programs You Will Own and Lead:
- Onboarding (mandatory for new leaders and any leader as nominated by their SLT) in collaboration with the global programmatic sales onboarding lead on our team
- Explorers Leaders (our flagship leader development program). This includes creating and executing annual in-person leader events in each region + monthly global virtual events
- Programmatic Sales/MEDDPICC certification programs in collaboration with instructional designers on the team
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively through multiple communication mediums to diverse stakeholder groups, from senior leaders through to sellers.
- Understanding of recent trends in leader and sales enablement, with a track record of executing high impact enablement programs.
- Demonstrated track record of executing a full scope of enablement programs, from design through adoption, with measurable impact on sales productivity and performance.
- Highly motivated, goal and results oriented, with a demonstrated bias for action and disciplined execution.
- Outstanding research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with LMS platforms, readiness solutions and tools, database programs, and software required (e.g., MS Excel, Outlook, MindTickle, Degreed, Salesforce, etc.), to provide coaching and support to newer in career team members.
- Excellent MS Excel skills are required (pivots, basic formulas, and VLOOKUP).
- Ability to measure, evaluate, and report on learning and development effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop strong cross-functional global relationships.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and execute projects simultaneously and independently.
- 7+ years of global sales enablement leadership experience.
- 4+ years of sales experience (preferred)
- BA/BS in related field
- Masters in related field preferred
