Job Description
What is the opportunity?
This is an opportunity to gain direct experience of RBC Capital Measurement working within the Financial Resource Optimization (FRO) group within RBC Corporate Treasury.
What will you do?
You will be responsible for a number of tasks and activities from the following depending on your skill set, aptitude and our business needs:
- Interpretation of changes to OSFI CAR guidelines
- Carry our analysis relating to Basel III/II and Pillar III reporting
- Assist with Reporting of Basel III/II and Pillar III reporting
- Assist with automation
- What do you need to succeed?
- Must-have
- Working towards Risk or a Finance/Accounting qualification
- Understand Bank’s products, reporting process and requirements
- Nice-to-have
- Experience or working knowledge of Risk, Capital, and Financial concepts
- An understanding of regulatory and economic capital and how it impacts Banks investment and dividend policies
- Desk top application skills such as Excel, Access PowerPoint
- Used databases and understand relational data structures

- Please note: This posting is for a 8-months Winter 2024 Student placement with a start date of January 2024, and end date of August 2024. In order to be eligible for this 8-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2024 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2024), you must require the full 8-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
