Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Associate, Institutional Flow Sales, you will be responsible for the Japanese and APAC institutional clients across the spectrum of Fixed Income products.

What will you do?

  • Have ongoing dialogue and strong relationships with major APAC clients (particularly Japanese clients and APAC Central Banks) and other clients as covered
  • Provide market information (such as writing daily US market comment) to both clients and APAC sales
  • Be a bridge person between trading desks in NY and APAC sales teams
  • Help APAC clients to access our North American platform by arranging conference calls, meetings and arranging business trips
  • Provide timely market information and insights from desks to clients in Japanese
  • Provide color, thematic information regarding APAC investors to stakeholders internally
  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

Must-have

  • Degree or equivalent is required
  • Good knowledge of fixed income markets
  • Well organized
  • Able to quickly prioritize tasks under pressure
  • Team player with a good attitude and strong communication skills
  • Series 7 & 63
  • Business level of English is required
