Reporting to the Sr. Producer, Board Sports the Board Sports Producer executes impactful and distinctive content that will grow the audience in the field of Board Sports, and Red Bull presence within this playground, in an authentic and credible way. You will support the team in building a year-long, cross-platform content strategy, driving the priorities for content, establishing engagement and reaching targets, identifying content needs on a rolling basis, and communicating these throughout the organization.

  • DRIVE RED BULL BOARD SPORTS CONTENT STRATEGY
  • Lead and create Board Sports and athlete related content, with a priority on social, short- and mid-form, but including live and long-form.
  • Identify content opportunities, creating scalable formats and series, assigning project leads and guiding productions start-to-finish.
  • Stay ahead of digital and audience trends to understand growing social platforms and the evolution of content discovery across the entire landscape of the Red Bull world.
  • Help define the Red Bull surfing and skateboarding and snow tone of voice in Board Sports content and engaging the target audience, with a priority on credibility.
  • EXECUTION
  • You will work on creative plans and projects, collaborating with external production partners and agencies from inception to delivery.
  • Lead projects from kickoff all the way through to publishing across all digital platforms and social channels.
  • Work with production management to manage budgets, track progress, post-production and delivery schedules, and source project-based talent.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and lend important expertise to ongoing projects or project teams for all Board Sports athletes and events.
  • Ensure content is delivered within Red Bull Media Network technical and editorial specifications, mastering the post-production process to Red Bull’s standards over time.
  • NETWORKING & COLLABORATION
  • Ensure strategic content is developed and produced following the content and network needs for the Board Sports team and beyond.
  • Collaborate with in-house and external producers and production partners to bring content ideas to life and ensure a credible knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Work with Programming and Analytics to use data to inform creative decision-making and monitor content performance, traffic and consumption trends.
  • Work with the Regional Teams on their Board Sports event and athlete plans, giving feedback and input, and setting best practices and sharing insights.
  • You will collaborate on regional events around the U.S. and share creative direction and best practice on how to cover them across any/all social media platforms.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant media market
  • Editorial skills and expertise in Board Sports
  • Outstanding storytelling skills and knowledge of social, digital, live, and long-form content creation and activation
  • Experience with digital and social content commissioning, creation, and programming
  • A great reputation and network of contacts in the fields of surf, skate and snow in the U.S.
  • A confident and proactive team player who possesses decision-making skills.
  • Travel 20-30%

The base salary range for this position is $101k to $112k + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
