The Business Intelligence Analyst is a trusted analyst for the GPO Support & GPO Management Teams. This position requires complex analytical skills and the ability to build models off financial data to help drive pertinent business decisions. For this role, the analyst will be required to combine individual transformation components to build out complex data transformations, for visualizations, business intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics. This includes both routine reporting responsibilities and larger-scale analytical initiatives to continually improve the team's capabilities and impact. Maintenance of current and development of new Power BI dashboards and SQL. 

Responsibilities 

• Analyze business requirements, and define data requirements from upstream financial systems
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, data models, data mapping and transform rules.
• Build out validation measures and models to ensure the accuracy of data reported
• Provide routine reporting updates and complete other special projects related to delivered profit and value management initiatives
• Work closely with users and other profitability data scientists to determine reporting requirements and implementation.
• Present data to leadership teams both internal and external
• Collaborate with peers and GPO management

Minimum Requirements

4+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

• Experience in analytics or data-related fields 
• Experience with financial analysis.
• Proficient in SQL, Snowflake Power BI, Python, Tableau
• Excellent problem-solving skills for data management and continuous process improvement.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Demonstrated level of technical knowledge and understanding of data architecture
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data structures, theories, principles, and practices. 
• Experience in Cloud-based approaches to Analytics and Reporting Platforms.
• Knowledge of and experience in the Agile Delivery Methodology. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Prior experience working with complex and unstructured data and/or automation/scripting language. 
• Experience successfully managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines as needed.
• Knowledge of the healthcare and/or distribution industry is a plus.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. 

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$76,300 - $127,100
