Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As Senior Manager, Process Strategy & Insights, you will be accountable for working with various stakeholders to help enable the way P&CB manages operational processes from an End-to-End (E2E) client perspective. You will work with an emerging process capability and apply your analytic ability combined with a hypothesis-driven approach to understand and synthesize ways to simplify E2E process management and oversight within Canadian Banking Operations (CBO). In addition, you will help drive the change and adoption of leveraging new process insights to enable decision making and process transformation.

What will you do?

• Build and maintain a framework of reusable insights to support future initiatives
• Identify ways to enhance the existing framework, platform and data sets to generate additional insights
• Enable Operations Process Strategy (OPS) and the Mega Journeys via the Process Strategy Chapter by facilitating knowledge sessions on Operations Product Hub (OPH) capabilities and skill build sessions on process reengineering tools and best practices
• Draw on in-depth product/process knowledge and keen operational mindset to uncover opportunities to continuously evolve the design framework
• Apply user-centered design practices like storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions
• Analyze data sets to uncover insights and create a fact-base to inform and accelerate large-scale initiatives such as Mega Journeys and other transformational projects
• Respond to analytics inquiries from Business areas / Process Owners to answer questions and inform decision making

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Canadian Banking Operations knowledge
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to gather information from various sources and formulate an understanding of processes
• Manage data, support reporting and/or identify new opportunities
• Confident decision-making capability and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to partner with various stakeholders and balance the needs from multiple lines of business
• Highly driven, results oriented with professional written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Nice-to-have

• Experience working as an analyst in the financial services industry
• Lean Six Sigma training or experience
• Data or Business Analyst Accreditation
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
