The Sr Business Systems Analyst acts as an intermediary between the business community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The Business Analyst is an active thought partner and application visionary that shapes the technology demand among the business community.

This role has an impact on enterprise counter activities relating to our global car reservation and rental customer journey, including management of availability; product and rate assignment; fulfillment of the customer reservation and rental journey and integration of our reservation and rental systems with global technologies for fleet maintenance, product pricing, customer experience, and business performance monitorin

What You'll Do:

• Work with executive and senior leaders to creating and maintain an operating plan to achieve the strategic vision and operating platform that defines the people, processes, tools, and technology
• Partner with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements
• Analyze, document and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
• Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing
• Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures
• Scrum Master, effectively and efficiently coordinate the delivery of sprints from planning to execution to review in an agile development environment
• Running daily scrums, collaborating with the product owner, collaborating on requirement documentation, managing tickets and unblocking impediments to keep the team moving
• Leads the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Tracks progress and keeps stakeholders informed

• Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies

• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
• Ability to partner with software engineers’ quality analysts to identify course of resolutions

TECHINCAL SKILLS

• Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
• Modeling Techniques: Object Orientation analysis, UML (e.g., Use Cases, Activity Diagrams)
• In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, RUP, and Waterfall)
• Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications
• Understanding of Java technologies and cloud platforms
• Experience in API specification

Educational Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years relevant experience

We expect the starting salary to be around $68,000 with profit sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
