SENIOR TREASURY ANALYST - RISK MANAGEMENT

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS - HYBRID

As a member of the Corporate Finance team, the Sr. Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting Lear’s global Risk Management Treasury function. The primary focus will include daily Risk Management activities and strategic long-term objectives. The position will also support specific cross-functional Treasury focused projects.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support daily derivative trading, hedging and settlement activities
  • Request and consolidate global FX exposure forecasts/budget globally and prepare presentations to be shared with regions and HQ
  • Review and report the drivers of FX other gains and losses; including propose action items to reduce or eliminate
  • Monitor and communicate changes in FX, interest rates and/or commodity markets
  • Produce monthly /quarterly treasury reporting requirements
  • Review and support 10Q/10K footnote disclosures for derivatives, understand financial statement implications for all treasury initiatives
  • Support external audit requirements
  • Participate in regular meetings regarding various Treasury topics with global banking partners
  • Ad hoc projects working with Corporate and Regional Treasury teams as well as cross function global groups

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Broad finance and accounting skills with 2+ years of experience 
  • Experience in Treasury with a focus in Risk Management and/or Capital Markets is a plus
  • Self-starter, ability to manage a project from inception to completion
  • Highly organized and works well under pressure / tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
