Position Description
- Architect to bridge the gap between the technical team, business team and project management, defining and validating quality solutions for an engagement, whether this be as part of a bid or delivery programme.
- Technical architect will lead the detailed design and implementation of the solution.
- On larger engagements architect will be part of a team supporting the lead architect.
- We are looking for established and experienced architects, as well as those who have made the transition into architecture more recently.
- Strong technology background and can address all aspects of the solution (conceptual, logical and physical) - working with stakeholders understand requirements and objectives as well as working closely with delivery teams to ensure that the architectural vision is maintained, whilst adapting the architecture to changing circumstances in an agile manner.
- Have deep interest in how technology can meet business needs and are driven to ensure all aspects of a solution are addressed – functional, non-functional, risk and cost. Also have an enquiring mind and are constantly learning – whether it is a new business domain or technology.

Specific’s
- Assess and screen cloud vendors and third-party service providers
- Analyze, design and maintain Hybrid cloud architecture that meets business requirements, Design and maintain strong security architecture, ensure cloud platforms and services are scalable, resilient and fault-tolerant
- Define monitoring parameter and monitoring tools to monitor and manage cloud services
- Validate project plan, costs and resources required for implementing cloud solutions
- Provision, configure, test and deploy cloud infrastructure
- Integrate cloud infrastructure with existing IT systems
- Comply by the cloud governance rules and policies of the organization
- Monitor usage, billing and performance of cloud resources as per the policies of the organization
- Create and monitor a release or deployment plan
- Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical product and support services
- Detect and communicate occurrences of information security threats and risks
- Respond to security threats and restore affected capabilities
- Identify appropriate legal/regulatory/compliance standards and ensure systems are certified and compliant to them
- Define, monitor and manage cloud security safeguards and policies in the organization
- Define a clear strategic outlook for the organization

Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of modelling approaches such as UML, ArchiMate and Data modelling is desirable along with knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and experience in an agile environment
- Experience in data modelling (at conceptual and logical level)
- Experience of a wide range of technologies and approaches, including: Public Cloud Solutions, API and Integration technologies; Micro Services; Data Storage and Analytics and Digital Transformation.
- Relevant experience as a solution architect or technical architect
- Experience in aligning the selection and application of technology with the business and customer goals and experience in architecture development and governance, overseeing all aspects of a solution from conceptual to physical
- Experience in working with Stakeholders and others to shape and communicate the overall solution, define the user experience, processes (using formal and informal notation), requirements and non-functional requirements.
- Proven experience in Azure services and setting up DevOps pipeline.
- Familiarity with Agile principles, DevOps Methodology.
- Good hands on Experience of: Azure DevOps and on-prem DevOps tool sets
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Be available as needed to support production deployments.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Proficient in {{C# and/or VB.NET}}, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Good experience in different scripting technologies like Javascript, Jquery, JSON
- Good experience in working ASP.NEP and WCF Webservices and Web API(RESTful services)
- Creation/Debugging of Sql Server Stored Procedures, SSIS Packages, SSRS Reports
- Decent understanding of implementing/Debugging of Sql Server Replication
- Code Build and Merging in TFS and Azure DevOps
