Position Description:

CGI Belgium is looking for energetic people with a passion for IT consultancy and Functional Analysis in particular. Do you want to be part of a world-leading IT service provider and the expert of choice to support our customers' digital transformation?

Do you have +5 years of experience in creating (non) functional expectations and translating them into designs using standard modeling methods? Can you collaborate with both end users and the IT team and are you punctual in delivering results? Then you are probably the ideal candidate to strengthen our Team in Brussels as a Functional Analyst.

Your day-to-day activities

• Drawing up functional and non-functional requirements based on detailed business requirements;
• Translate functional requirements into a functional design using standard modeling methods such as business process modelling, use cases, activity diagrams and user interface descriptions;
• Finding your way in the existing data model and modeling new data requirements;
• The punctual delivery of deliverables according to schedule, using the organization's templates and tools and validated by the identified Business and IT stakeholders;
• Interaction with developers to align the implemented solution with the functional design;
• Prepare acceptance of test scenarios to ensure that the delivered software is in line with the functional design;
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with both business and IT departments;
• Estimate the impact on the existing applications.

What you need to be successful in this role?

• You have experience with modeling methods such as BPM, UML, wireframes, RUP, user stories, use cases and in 1 or more modeling tools (including EA, Aris, Visio, Bizagi);
• You have a first experience in working in structured projects and with SQL;
• You have experience with documenting interfaces (SOAP/REST);
• You are customer-oriented and flexible;
• You use an analytical approach to achieve results;
• You produce high-quality deliverables;
• You deal effectively with changing and sometimes stressful environments;
• You are able to set priorities and meet deadlines;
• You have good presentation and communication skills;
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a good knowledge of English;
• You facilitate workshops that lead to results;
• You are a good team player but can also work autonomously;
• You are a good listener and communicate clearly with teams from different departments;
• You effectively extract relevant information that is present in the organization;
• Knowledge of testing tools and methodologies is a plus (ISTQB, HP Quality Center, JIRA, …);
• Be resident in Belgium with a valid work permit are mandatory .
