System Administrator, Senior

The Opportunity: 

Your combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting Army Cyber programs? We’re looking for a system administrator who is experienced in architecting lab and enterprise networks, with the capability to recommend, build and manage solutions and architectures to help us Modernize Army Cyber infrastructure.

You Have: 

  • Experience with architecting lab or enterprise networks and recommending solutions and architectures
  • Experience with performing technical leadership to plan technical implementation, manage technical tasking within the team, and support junior staff
  • Experience with implementing and operating VMWare and other virtualization or container solutions
  • Knowledge of Linux server administration and how systems are connected together in an architecture
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with administering DoD systems
  • Knowledge of Windows administration and the tools to administer updates and software inventory
  • Knowledge of network switch configuration
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes administration
  • Possession of excellent documentation skills to capture network architectures and proposed solution architectures
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
