Why is this role really critical to us? 

Vodafone Finance Company operates a critical Core Banking software. To effectively manage this product, there is need for a senior DevOps System Engineer to be in charge of application software maintenance, automation, vendor management

How will you spend your time at Vodafone? 

• Operate production and development environments of Vodafone Finance company. Analyse business problems; create and deliver a scalable, resilient and cost-effective architecture as part of the solution to the problem
• Coordinate the team, lead the technical activites and be a trainer.
• Communicate clearly, effectively internally and externally with associates at all levels.
• Discovery of new products and changes and improvement of existing products.
• Participate in projects in line with the needs of the institution, provides technical opinions and evaluations to decision makers, advises managers on building improvement and conducts research related to them

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have: 

• Bachelor's degree from Computer Engineering or similar discipline and 8+ years of Operation/DevOps/Infrastrure/engineering experience
• Understanding of all aspects of Cloud Native Architecture, DevOps Technologies and tools (ELK, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus), CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD) and database (SQL, PLSQL) experience is also required.
• Experience with in-memory databases (Redis) products, message queue applications (Kafka, Rabit MQ) and a programming language like python.
• Customer focused, result oriented, hardworking, team focused
• Experience of local authority regulations (BDDK) will be a plus
