Your day to day:

As a Backend Network Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing integration for multiple applications and services to the API Gateway, while ensuring an effective and stable way of bringing APIs and micro-services into one integration layer.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Use deep technical expertise to develop and implement automated infrastructure workflows
• Elaborate on necessary use cases, technical feasibilities, publish existing APIs on Apigee API gateway and develop microservices to enrich existing capabilities.
• Integrate complex tools and applications for overall E2E Automation.
• Operate and ensure high availability of services and regularly develop automation scripts.
• Implement changes on software solutions and perform maintenance work.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Experience with AWS (any certifications are considered a plus) 
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes 
• Experience with scripting languages (Python is preferred) 
• Previous experience working in SCRUM methodology.
• Knowledge of Git
• Experience with CI systems (Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, Github Actions etc.)
• Strong experience in developing APIs 
• Good knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including routing principles and IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS etc.
