The developer in the BSS team is responsible for the design and development of digital IT solutions and services for internal and external clients. Collaborates with software development teams and client liaison colleagues to understand software requirements, to maintain the correct functioning of integrated services, and to actually ensure that the developed functionalities are maintained in a consistent, logical manner, without errors and optimal from a technical point of view.

You´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing multi-layer applications using web technologies such as Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Participating in the entire application lifecycle, from technical design and estimations, to coding and integration testing. Agile methodology with iterative releases will be used.
• Integration of data storage solutions for data persistence. Requires advanced knowledge of relational (for example: MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.) and non-relational (for example: MongoDB) databases.
• Development of user authentication and authorization processes between multiple systems, servers and environments. Knowledge of industry standards like OAUTH2 and OICD is required.
• Creating and maintaining monitoring dashboards (using technologies/solutions like Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana etc.) for operational purposes, and remediation of production issues.
• Creating documentation for the written source code (Database Development Specifications, Development Specifications for User-Exposed Interfaces) along with installation and operation manual.

What you bring?

• Experience working in an Agile development environment using methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe and tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience working with JEE technologies from version 6 up, such as: CDI, EJB, JPA, JTA, JCA, JTA, JMS, JAXB, Servlet, JSP, JSF, JAX-WS, JAX-RS.
• Experience in developing and working with RESTful API and SOAP API web services.
• Team spirit and solid communication skills to collaborate with different work partners.
• Good time management skills.

Must have qualifications and expertise:

• Higher education (technical university studies).
• Work experience of at least 3 years with Java, respectively JEE.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering web and mobile applications.
