Overview

SEG is seeking a candidate to provide Software Engineering Technical Support for the Standard Missile Program.

Responsibilities

Duties

Evaluate the embedded software for adherence to requirements and sound design practices.
Monitor the software development activities and report anomalies, risk areas, and provide suggestions for corrective action.
Review software development documentation to assess adherence to program technical requirements. Assess development schedules to evaluate reasonableness and approach.

Qualifications

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Knowledge of agile software development in support of DoD programs.
Knowledge and experience in software design, development, test, and project management is required.
Knowledge and experience with embedded or real time software is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, software best practices, agile development, and project management of missile systems development is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Navy weapon systems is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience

Travel

Frequent travel (25%) to contractor sites is required

Clearance

US Citizenship is required.
