Your Tasks

Working within the Global Brand and Marketing Division and reporting to a Head of Franchise, you will drive the planning, communication and execution of global marketing campaigns for your portfolio or products, translating brand strategy and creative into effective, measurable marcomms across paid, earned and owned channels.

  • Working with a team of brand and marketing professionals you will drive the global marketing execution over multiple campaign beats
  • A seasoned marketing manager, you will be in your element coordinating a multi-channel strategy across paid, earned and owned media

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of Brand Managers within the Franchise Team plan and deliver global multi-channel marketing activations from announce though to launch and beyond
  • Identify target markets and audiences and develop the tools and strategies required to engage them
  • Coordinate PLAION’s central media, digital, influencer, SoMe 1st party / partner teams to deliver integrated campaigns around key beats
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all internal teams to ensure fully aligned execution of marketing strategies
  • Deliver clear and regular communication to PLAION’s regional teams, ensuring global beats are activated and amplified at a local level, and guide / champion local marketing initiatives
  • With the Insight and Analytics team, set and track KPIs to assess campaign health, communicate finding and adapt as necessary
  • Working closely with the Project Manager, engage external vendors and internal Creative Services as required to ensure timely localised marketing materials are in place to support global and local activations
  • With the Brand Manager, and under supervision of the Head of Franchise, manage the global marketing budget effectively, ensuring all activity is agreed and within budget, while maximising delivery and impact on all expenditure to meet ROI
  • In collaboration with the Digital team, work closely with external media and marketing agencies to represent the franchises and the studios in internal and external meetings
  • Work with digital and commercial teams on post launch sales / re-promotion strategies to ensure products reach or exceed lifecycle targets

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in a product / marketing manager role at a central level, with local marketing experience a bonus
  • Substantial career experience within the games industry, ideally with exposure to multiple aspects of the business
  • Educated to Graduate level or a professional equivalent i.e MBA
  • An experienced marketeer, comfortable with both the art and science of marketing
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A confident, diplomatic communicator, able to coordinate multiple teams and disciplines
  • In depth knowledge of the Western ‘AAA’ games market and marketing strategies and channels, including PR, social, community and retail
  • A keen gamer, able to demonstrate a passion for gaming preferred
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
