The ARTisan Café: Director of Marketing internship position is part of the Student Entrepreneur Program with Tiger Hospitality. This program is comprised of a campus-wide and student-run coffee program that empowers entrepreneurial minds to curate menus and establish business acumen. With the support of the Aramark management team at Towson University, students in the internship will gain valuable skills and insights to the food service and hospitality industries s well as business operations. This creative role is headquartered in the ARTisan Café and will be responsible for partnering in the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing programs and strategies for the Coffee program. The Marketing Director will work to engage students, staff, and the community on the Towson University Coffee offerings.

Job Responsibilities

• Sculpt a creative coffee plan across Towson University’s campus
• Highlights the local coffee brewer partnerships through targeted marketing methods
• Develop new strategies to promote the Coffee program offerings including use of social media outlets
• Creates digital and print signage that conveys the mission and value brought to campus by the Coffee program
• Work alongside the student executive team to determine and pursue opportunities for student engagement on the campus coffee program including campus participation and student employment
• Work closely with the student executive team to meet program goals and set team deadlines

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Towson University
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended time periods
• The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of business and the marketing functions
• Position may require working with heated equipment and steam
