Your responsibilities

  • As a Senior Application Management Services (AMS) Consultant for Workday you will be responsible for providing ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform
  • The role involves ensuring that the Workday system continues to operate smoothly, meets evolving business needs, and aligns with best practices.
  • User Support: You provide technical support to end-users who encounter issues or have questions related to the Workday platform. This involves troubleshooting problems, guiding users through solutions, and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • System Upgrades and Updates: Workday releases regular updates, enhancements, and new features. The consultant manages the process of reviewing and implementing these updates, ensuring they are tested, integrated, and deployed smoothly without disrupting the system.
  • Configuration and Customization: In response to changing business needs, the consultant may need to adjust or enhance configurations within the Workday system. This could involve creating new reports, modifying workflows, or making adjustments to accommodate organizational changes.
  • Data Management: You oversee data integrity and quality within the Workday system. This includes managing data loads, addressing data discrepancies, and working to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Performance Optimization: You are responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize the performance of the Workday system, whether through configuration changes, system tuning, or other methods. This helps ensure the system operates efficiently.
  • Collaboration: You collaborate with inhouse Workday consultants to address complex issues, implement improvements, and align the Workday system with the organization's evolving needs.

Your profile

  • Workday Expertise: You have a minimum experience of 3 years of the Workday platform, its modules, functionalities, and best practices. You have gained this experience from working as an implementation or AMS consultant.
  • You are a certified Workday Pro in at least three modules, preferably HCM Core, Talent & Performance, and Compensation.
  • In addition you have experience with connecting Workday to external HR, time tracking and payroll systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: You have strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, configure workflows, and perform data-related tasks.
  • Process Understanding: You have a strong understanding of HRM processes
  • Problem-Solving: You bring the ability to analyze complex problems, devise effective solutions, and implement them efficiently.
  • Communication: Your language proficiency is at least C2 for English and preferably German as well.
  • Project Management: Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work within project timelines.
  • Continuous Learning: Given the evolving nature of technology, staying up-to-date with new Workday features, updates, and industry trends is crucial.
  • Client-Focused: A commitment to understanding and addressing client needs, building strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
