  • 仕事内容

シニアセールスエンジニアは、営業チームを率いて売上高と収益性の目標を達成することが主な仕事となります。

担当地域の顧客と良好な関係を築き、全ての連携部門が効果的かつ効率的に協力し、全員が同じ目標に向かって邁進するために必要なアクションをとります。

勤務地は東京都、大阪府、愛知県(名古屋市)のいずれかを予定しています。★東京にて積極採用中!

具体的には

  • 事業目標の達成に向けて、インダストリー部の担当チームを指導、評価、育成。
  • 担当エリアの年間予算策定、売上予測の作成、チームメンバーへの売り上げ目標の割り当て、経費予算の策定、市場や競合の変化に応じた販売計画の調整、年間売上げ・目標管理。
  • 営業方針、手順を明確にし、適切なシステムを導入。コーポレートポリシーの遵守を徹底するとともに、営業チームの活動ガイドラインを提供する。
  • 顧客の支払い管理。毎月売掛金残高を確認し、未払い残高についてはフォローアップするようメンバーに指示。潜在的な不良債権を阻止する。
  • メンバーとの定期的なコーチングミーティングを開催。顧客開拓や営業のPDCAを確認・実施。
  • 顧客管理ツール内の活動管理を含む、顧客との折衝、販売機会の確保。

※勤務の半分は外勤を想定。

必須条件

  • 大卒以上
  • 5年以上の法人営業の経験
  • 2年以上のチームリーダーまたはマネジメント経験

  • 英語:日常会話レベル以上、積極的に習得したい方

目安としてTOEIC600点以上、海外出張に一人で行けるレベル。

試験の点数よりはスピーキングができることを重視します。

Senior Sales Engineer, Industry – Japan

What is the job about?

The Sales team leader’s primary responsibility is to assist the external industry sales team toward delivering on the sales growth and profitability targets.

You will also be accountable for building and maintaining positive relationships with the industrial customers in the Area of responsibility, and responsible for ensuring effective and efficient collaboration between all functional areas on a local level ensuring that all support towards the same aligned goals for the business. The workplace will be either in Tokyo, Osaka, or Nagoya.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Select, lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of employees to ensure that the department achieves the business standards.
  • Develop and implement annual budget and plan for assigned service market, including preparing sales forecast, allocating sales targets to employees, developing expense budget, and adjusting sales plans to meet changing markets and good conditions to achieve annual sales targets, goals, and plans.
  • Implement sales policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and provide working guidelines for the sales team.

  • Monitor account receivable balance monthly, follow up with employees on outstanding balances, and ensure that customers pay as per terms to assist maintain cash flow and reduce potential bad debts.
  • Have regular performance coaching meetings with team members to ensure that we have the desired behavior in developing customers & sales
  • Drive Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales) within their teams, including follow-up on activities and opportunities in the global CRM tool.
  • Ensure that the customer categorization and prioritization reflect the sales strategy of the company
  • Ensure employee motivation and a sense of belonging to the Industry Division and ONE Grundfos.

Posting, Reporting, and Work Relations

This position will direct report to Regional senior manager and work closely with the CBS sales team and Service delivery team in Japan.

What do you need to apply?

We imagine you have a background in engineering and sales with significant technical knowledge. Ideally, you have several years of experience in the industry with specific experience in aftermarket service, systems, or energy-related solutions. Ideally, you can exhibit knowledge of digitally connected devices, and understand the wider value behind an efficient, optimized pumping system. 

You are a sales-oriented person with effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. You speak and write Japanese fluently (native level), and English with no hesitation (conversational level).

In this role, you can expect to travel 50 % of your work time, and a valid driving license is required. 

As a person, you are independent and aggressive with an eagerness to explore new business areas. You can adapt to changes quickly and are capable to interact with people from all levels inside and outside the organization. You are an innovative and innovative leader who is capable to come up with new and different viewpoints resulting in team improvement and growth. You are structured and could handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical /Electrical Engineer or related field
  • Native level of Japanese
  • Good command in communication and written English
  • At least 5 years’ experience in technical sales
  • SAP CRM is preferred
