Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking Medical Laboratory Scientists to join our growing Clinical Laboratories in the Microbiology Lab.
Full-Time and Part-time options
Shifts: 3:00pm-1:30am (10-hour shift) OR 11:00 PM -730 AM (8-hour shift)
Every other weekend and 3 holidays a year.
Sign-on Bonuses for NEW team members:
$8,000 - full-time PM shift
$10,000 - full-time MN shift
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Education: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or university in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
Experience: Relevant work experience in a medical laboratory is required if MLS/MT degree is not obtained.
Certification/Licensure: Medical Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – ASCP, or NCLS certification preferred.

Performing over 220,000 tests per year, the Micro lab at Trinity Health is one of the largest in the state of Michigan. This is a state-of-the-art microbiology lab where you will be able to utilize your experience and skills, but also to learn and grow within this unique field. Located in Saint Joseph Mercy Health System Ann Arbor you will be centrally located to the art, culture, academics, entertainment and activities that Ann Arbor provides.
POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, performs qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests on patient specimens, according to established standards and practices. Analyzes test results and prepares samples for testing. Is knowledgeable of the principles and clinical significance involved in test procedures and uses this expertise daily. Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies.
