The opportunity to join the One Data Team and build a career in Engie's analytical world
Key Responsibilities
ENGIE has built the Global Performance Cockpit (GPC), which is an unprecedented repository allowing the Group to steer its operational and financial performance through timely information. Vast amounts of data from diversified sources are ingested, transformed and managed in a solution called Foundry powered by Palantir. The solution enables access on laptop, PC and tablets. Today, the GPC is operational and used daily by ENGIE’s Global Leaders (more than 200 unique visitors per month). The whole value chain of ENGIE is covered, meaning 60 KPIs across all Global Business Units are integrated at top management level. The overall governance includes assignment of data owners to ensure data quality.
GPC centralizes in one single place all operational and financial performance KPIs. Part of these KPIs were already followed in other tools, while new KPIs were built based on a central repository and the possibility to align and mix data from different sources (operational, finance, external…).
The strength of Foundry is to structure, order and transform data. The data model is easy to build and the power of calculation is efficient.
The GPC developer will be part of a center of expertise lead by a Technology leader in Foundry and will contribute to the further development of GPC and therefore to the increase of adoption in the entire Group.
