Job Summary:
The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s mission is to provide outstanding, cutting-edge clinical care, research, and state-of-the-art training. The Department is seeking a board-eligible or board-qualified otolaryngologist with subspecialty training in Laryngology to join the full-time faculty. Particular consideration will be given to candidates interested in pursuing a clinician-scientist path, to collaborate with any of the renowned microbiology, immunology & chemosensory biology, or other research groups at the University of Colorado. Additional opportunities for collaboration include with our Speech Language Pathology program which runs a highly sought-after fellowship program. Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
We note that the ranges below reflect the base (fixed) salary ranges in alignment with AAMC Benchmarks by each rank (~25th percentile AAMC).
Faculty total compensation, which is variable based on production and academic output, typically ranges between the median and 75th percentile AAMC with opportunity to exceed beyond the 75th.
Assistant Professor: The base salary range for this position has been established at $250,000 - $350,000.
Associate Professor: The salary range for this position has been established at $275,000 - $375,000.
Professor: The salary range for this position has been established at $300,000 - $400,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
