We are hiring a talented iOS Developer to join our team working on the Nucleus Smart App. The Nucleus Smart App empowers hearing implant recipients to control their hearing experience while providing direct support from professionals on their hearing journey.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with existing squads to enhance the Nucleus Smart App, supporting user needs and improving functionality
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure cross-platform compatibility
- Work closely with the development team to design and implement new features, maintaining a high standard of code quality
- Participate in agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement
- Explore and implement new technologies, languages, and platforms to optimize app performance and user experience
- Work from the office located in Macquarie Park, NSW, 2-3 times a week
What You Have
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant computing field (IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics) OR a minimum of 10 years experience in full lifecycle commercial software development
- At least 5 years of experience building complex iOS mobile applications
- Proficient in Swift and RxSwift for iOS app development
- Experience building applications for iOS 15+ with a focus on UI/UX design
- Familiarity with UIKit and SwiftUI for UI development
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience in the medical device industry or related regulated sectors is preferred
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and commercial experience in developing secure software products is a plus
