Your Key Responsibilities

Join our team as we create new ways to tap into water’s vast potential. Your Duties:

• Continue to build Stantec’s South Carolina water/wastewater presence by using current client relationships in Columbia-area water and wastewater municipal markets to determine and win project opportunities. Develop additional client relationships necessary for building business in the Greenville/Columbia area.
• Coordinate business development opportunities with our overall Water practice in the Southeast.
• Lead water/wastewater practice in SC.
• Stantec has many subject matter experts whom you can introduce to your clients. Connecting client opportunities with our experts is essential.
• Lead detailed studies, modeling, and design of municipal water and wastewater systems and related facilities.
• Lead the development of plans specifications and other contract documents for water and wastewater improvements.
• Manage and supervise engineers and technical staff to ensure that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
• Meet with clients, municipal officials, public, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
• Manage project schedule and budget.
• Manage the process for obtaining approvals from various agencies.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• 12 years’ experience in engineering analysis and design of water distribution and wastewater collection facilities.
• Established history or ability to build strong client relationships with South Carolina Water and Wastewater municipalities.
• Ability to manage regional design teams with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree.
• P.E license in South Carolina or ability to quickly obtain P.E is required.

Typical office environment working with computers and sitting at a desk. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
