Responsibilities

IT Value Proponent:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders and be able to present and articulate the value of IT across the region, both, for end customers and for DHL operations.
  • Strong bridge between supply side IT and business development. Must therefore have a high understanding of both functions.
  • Engage with IT Global and IT country leads and develop programs leading to standardization of customer solutions.
  • Be an ambassador of best practices and develop product capability info packs and collateral that can be distributed across the region.
  • Direct liaison with regional business development team as the IT Solution owner and propose solutions that are scalable, standardized and best fit for purpose.
  • IT Customer Solutions SME and be the regional champion to train, coach and develop competency in countries.

Business Pursuit:

  • Responsible for regional IT bids that are being pursued by Business Development (BD) teams. Aligning of the needed solutions, costing, and deployment plans across multiple countries.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Solution Design teams to understand customer IT requirements and develop IT solution proposal that include the scope, timeline, commercial, and deployment approach.
  • Present and sell DHL Supply Chain IT solutions to customer that are standard offering.
  • Conduct and participate IT solution concept peer review and work to obtain sign off from stakeholders. Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.
  • Manage distributed in-country IT Customer Solutions teams for multi-country bids. Support in-country IT Customer Solutions community for a single country bids Project Delivery.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Warehouse management systems, B2B integrations, 3rd party integrations, SaaS vendor solution offering etc.
  • Own the cost model process and further run initiatives leading to automating tender/bid process. Develop cost models and convert to template and self-provisioning tools for business users.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in selling and implementing Supply Chain IT solutions in Supply chain and service logistics industry.
  • 3+ years of experience n IT SDLC, PDLC, Development and IT delivery role. Not an IT developer/coder but strong technical skills as foundation education or experience.
  • 3+ years of working experience in complex cross-functional organization with strong expertise in stakeholder management.
  • Strong with numbers, able to model costing and finance pertains to IT investment and value proposition.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills and ability to challenge and shape direction towards standardization and best practices. Mediator and relationship builder with succinct oral and written communication is desired.
