We currently have a vacancy for a Perishables Airfreight Export Operations Specialist to join our Perishables Team based in Adelaide, SA. The successful candidate will be based onsite in our office located in Adelaide, SA. This is a full-time position.

Perishables Airfreight Export Operations Specialist

Overall Purpose:

• Processes, handles and distributes all required documents in the shipping area
• Performs pickup arrangement
• Ensures customer requirements are met and documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner

Shift Time: 8.30am – 5pm standard office hours, 1hr lunch break

(Start times may adjusted pending peak periods)

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Minimum 12 months previous Freight Forwarding industry experience
• Strong knowledge of AFR & freight forwarding procedures and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of AFR/OFR Export Operations
• Good administrative skills
• Results driven and attention to details
• Good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) 
• Good verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette
• Inter-personal skills, with clear and concise communication skills 
• Commercial awareness & Customer centric
• Able to work on own initiative and to take responsibility and ownership of initiatives 
• Be result driven and be able to demonstrate strong communication and administration skills with a high degree of attention to detail and a professional work ethic specifically associated with the ability to manage multiple accounts, activities and projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
• Given the autonomous nature of this role, you're comfortable working independently
