We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Campinas, Brazil

Job Purpose:

Carry out requested purchases considering the Sourcing Process, including contractual management and total management of your sourcing category, based on the necessary compliance, assigning the prices and quality required by the business, previously aligned and approved by the requesting area

Your tasks:

• Production Equipment Category Management (Racks, Automation, and Internal Handling Equipment - pallet truck, front, among others)
• Contract Management
• Application of Sourcing methodology
• Analysis and Cost Reduction (via global targets defined for the category)
• Management of global, regional, and local KPIs for your category
• Support to all DHL Business Units in Brazil
• SRM (Supplier Management – which is supply chain monitoring including risk analysis)
• QBR with suppliers
• Service to global, regional, and local Compliance of the respective Business Unit
• Assistance to Start-ups of New Operations within the specific Category (Production equipment)
• Interaction with other countries to share best practices
• Occasional trips in OPS and DHL Brazil Bases
• Monitoring by general local, regional, and global Procurement and BU Base KPIs
• Business Partners relationship
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal customers in scope 
• Provide advice and support to internal customer with specs 
• Contribute to the successful cooperation between region / country and sourcing community
• Explain facts, policies and practices related to your job area 
• Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree -preference for Engineering or Business Administration 
• 6+ years of experience in the Procurement area and team management
• Proficiency in English and Spanish – reading, writing & speaking
• Experience in Oracle system environment
• Great communication style and analytical skills; Negotiation Technique; Market Analysis; Knowledge of Sourcing steps; Contract Management and Category Management; Good Communication; Flexibility; Good interpersonal relationship in all hierarchical spheres; Organization; Ownership; Pro activity.
