We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Transport Development Manager.Your role will be to develop, design, and implement transport solutions across the Benelux region for local and international distribution.

Your responsibilities;
- Develop and design high technical/commercial transport solutions together with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Account Management and Operations)
- Support the development of a commercial framework for your proposed innovative solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve DSC's growth, contract retention, and continuous improvement objectives.
- Based on customer data, advise the customer in new and innovative solutions which addresses the customer's needs and demonstrates clear solution fit
- Be proactive in seeking carbon neutral solutions matching customer needs
- Learn, grow, and become the driver of sustainability and innovation for our customers
What we offer;
- A full-time position with a good starting salary between €4.400,- / €6.700 gross per month.

- A bonus potential of up to 12,5% of your annual salary
- You are entitled to 25 vacation days based on a full-time working week
- 8% of holiday allowance

What is required from you?
- 3 to 7 years’ experience in logistics or end-to-end supply chain
- A master’s degree in (or with a focus on) Supply Chain management, logistics, or Industrial Engineering
- Previous exposure to modeling of complex domestic and international transport network, logistics/transport operations, etc.
- Knowledge of the Benelux transport market and various modes of transportation (road freight, air/sea, parcel/express networks, specialized transport)
- Knowledge of Life Science GDP regulation is a plus
- Previous experience/knowledge in Project Management
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
- Ability to work successfully in a complex environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
- English spoken and written fluency at business level – Dutch is a required
