We are looking for a Change Management & Operation Excellence Manager

The candidate, reporting directly to the Operations Excellence Director will have the following responsibilities:

What Will You Do:

  • Responsible for coordinating all site-level process excellence activities and Smart Manufacturing activities in line with DHL Operating Model (OMS) and company programs;
  • Drive the Implementation of DHL Operating Model (OMS) on country/ cluster level;
  • Support the members of the Senior Leadership Team in setting up the DHL Operating Model Plan and the related communication strategy;
  • Master lean manufacturing methodologies (ex. World Class Manufacturing, TPM, TPS, Continuous improvement) and act like an accelerator on increasing site capability enabling the delivery of cost saving and waste elimination projects;
  • Coaches the Senior Leadership Team on their role to drive changes on the business in line with DHL Operating Model standards and routines;
  • Ensures that all supporting functions are trained in the principles of DHL Operating Model and understand their role in implementing and sustaining the OMS FC culture;
  • Ensure that all supporting functions (i.e.: HR, SHEQ, Security, IT, etc) are engaged, supporting the implementation of new projects in line with DHL Operating Model standards and culture;
  • Shares best practices within the regional community and ensures the implementation of best practices within the country/ cluster;
  • Drive and coach the Senior Leadership Team in understanding the importance of Continuous Improvement and how they can personally contribute to it;
  • Ensures that the overall OMS FC infrastructure is maintained and coaches Senior Management Team during times of change in sustaining these standards;
  • Carries out regular KPI reviews and engages the Senior Management Teams with suggestions of reviewing goals in line with the Continuous Improvement principles;
  • Encourages Senior Management Teams in picking up the OMS FC principles and lead by example;
  • Ensures development and execution of projects and programs to enable the Site to meet its commitments and targets;
  • Supports and deliver deployment of change management programs;
  • Demonstrates Continuous Improvement mindset through identifying new improvement opportunities;

Requirements

  • Master`s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration is required;
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain Industry with managing people is essential for this role. (Experience with people management on operational level is a strong advantage.);
  • Master Process excellence, Lean Manufacturing-wise programs (TPS, WCM, TPM, Six Sigma, etc)
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI and Value Stream Optmization methodology
  • Has strong leadership and team building attitudes supported by technical skills, structured mindset and is able to influence the organization to the next step driving the change end to end and proper deployment and reapplication.
  • With a Continuous improvement mindset, has a lateral thinking, challenging status quo in a never-ending research for optimization.
  • Seeks for the root cause and with a continuous learning and improving approach and is aiming to look for solution to fix to the root cause focusing forward.
  • Complement motivation and engagement with analytical databased method.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
