In this Senior PTP Coordinator position

• You will AP/ GL entries and bookkeeping of payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, receiving, and posting cash receipts, posting of invoices, reconciling outstanding account balances, maintenance of accurate records and control reports, etc.
• You will Supervise and oversee AP/ GL entries and bookkeeping of payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, receiving, and posting cash receipts, posting of invoices, reconciling outstanding account balances, maintenance of accurate records and control reports, etc.
• You will guide and support team to resolve day to day issues in service delivery such as complex reconciliations and build strong, trusting relationships with Stakeholders.
• You will adherence to set standards and compliance requirements - Ensure compliance with MOM (MEA Operating Model), DP DHL financial and accounting principles (e.g., IFRS), and local statutory requirements and ensure implementation of DGF’s iCON (internal control) is adhered to. Influence and challenge key stakeholders effectively
• You will set day-to-day operational objectives for team and support team members with less experience - Provide assistance and training to lower-level employees
• You will respond to critical technical or other issues escalated by own team and may be responsible for leading daily operations.
• You will ensure the monthly accounting and reporting activities are executed in line in accordance with the month end closed timetable and DP DHL guidelines, (e.g., IAS/IFRS principles and local GAAP).
• You will generate daily and ad-hoc reports and perform daily & weekly tasks and MEC Activities as assigned by the PTP Supervisor.
• You will support Countries on External & Internal Audit Requirements and assist with any ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the department as required.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• A university Degree preferably accounting/finance or ACCA Qualified
• At least 2 years’ experience or more in Accounting Department
• Well conversant in Microsoft Office and very strong accounting literacy
• Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.
