Position: IT Manager – Global eCommerce (m/f/x)

Contract Type: Full Time (Permanent)

Location: Any, Preferred UK/EMEA, Homebased

We are looking for an established IT Manager to join our global eCommerce team where you will be required to support the development of the eComm IT eco system across (but not limited to) the following global strategic projects:

eCommerce Integration - LINK eConnect (Formerly known as Cheetah\Codept)

  • Perform certification and testing from target webstores via LINK eConnect into DHL strategic WMS' (Manhattan & Blue Yonder) replacing activities currently performed by contract resource.
  • Support in country\regional customer deployments of LINK eConnect and legacy plugin migrations.
  • Manage the BU ownership of webstore\marketplace integrations (2 webstores currently onboarded and validated, with a further 5 requiring validation and growing pipeline of new requests 3+)

Global Returns

  • Coordinate\Manage customer implementations of SmartScanner Returns
  • Support development and end to end testing of the ReverseLogix integration into DHL strategic WMS' (Manhattan & Blue Yonder)
  • Support development and end to end testing of Returns portal integrations (ZigZag, Narvar, Rebound etc)

Direct to Consumer

  • Support development and end to end testing of Direct to Consumer (D2C) solution with Tryzens and Salesforce

Global Omni-channel Template

  • Support development and end to end testing of Global Omni-channel template initiative

Successful delivery for IT solutions will include the coordination of central IT functions and coordinating and communicating with site operational colleagues. This will include local change management and incident coordination. A key component of the role will be to play an active role in IT project delivery for the business, acting as a Global IT SME providing end user service to enable the effective use of IT.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Provide eComm IT knowledge to define, develop, test, and support the integration between eComm platforms, through DHL Link and into the strategic warehouse management systems (Manhattan WMOS, iSeries & Active & Blue Yonder NTV)
  • Provide eComm IT subject matter expert knowledge to the Global eCommerce business team to help develop, lead, and shape the eComm IT eco-system and partners.
  • Responsible for managing and supporting the development of the eComm IT eco-system through identified partners such as Codept (LINK eConnect) as well as direct 3PV integration into platforms such as ChannelAdvisor, SelleSellar etc.
  • Review and define changes to the DHL LINK Global APIs to support the eComm growth agenda.
  • Provide technical support across the global eComm estate, supporting the business needs of today and the future.

Now here's what we need from you: 

  • Communicate and influence senior business leaders
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across DPDHL
  • Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g., external service providers
  • Experience in Senior IT Management roles working within large, complex multinational organizations
  • Significant experience in developing and managing large complex projects and implementations
  • Excellent understanding of the specific business domain (DHL Strategic WMS experience (BY NTV/Manhattan WMOS)
  • Complex problem-solving context, global strategic transformation programs
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
