Accounting Coordinator

You do. DHL Global Forwarding Mauritius has an opening for an Accounting Coordinator in the MEA Accounting Competency Centre where you will be responsible for Intercompany Reconciliation and in-house bank transactions. In this Accounting Coordinator position

• You will be responsible for the processing of IC Approval Queue and the correction of errors in IC Approval Queue.
• You will be liaising with countries to correct the Rejections in IC Approval Queue.
• You will be responsible for posting of IC Manual Invoices and CW1 invoices.
• You will deal with ICE submission to IHB and booking of IHB statement.
• You will deal with posting of payment and allocation of IC accounts.
• You will follow up on IHB payment details and breakdown as well as follow up disputes with Specialist and raise IRCN.
• You will be responsible for IC reconciliations for both clearing and non-clearing partners.
• You will follow up with partners and countries to eliminate IC differences and reduce provision.
• You will send IC receivables statement to partners and follow up on IC receivables collections.
• You will be responsible for IC CW1 month end activities and billing of CW1 invoices before CW1 closure.
• You will post IC Balance Sheet/Profit and Loss adjustment related to CREST Reporting
• You will be responsible for executing IC processes as per MOM and in accordance to global IC rules.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• A university Degree preferably accounting/finance or ACCA Qualified
• At least 2 years’ experience in accounting department
• Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.
• Experience in performing supplier reconciliations.
