IT@Trafilea: IT professionals work on modern tech stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, scalable e-commerce platforms that drive the growth of the company's portfolio of brands. They work on projects ranging from designing ReactJS components in our library to complex AI models at the core of our applications and integrations

We are looking for a IT Manager (she/he/they) who will be responsible for keeping the organization future-focused and clear about leveraging, institutionalizing, and continuously improving its core development capabilities, building and leading a high-performing team to support and expand our technological capabilities and identify and implement various technology solutions within the organization and maintain and ensure high availability of the existing infrastructure and systems.

Expected outcomes & responsibilities

Lead Development Efforts

  • Successfully lead the development teams to achieve an %80 of OKRs accomplishment in the following Quarters
  • Keep the eNPS of the team over 80.
  • Align with the I+D, Infra, and Arq team to leverage the Development and tech capabilities.

Brands - Overall Stores

  • Successfully build and implement Trafilea Brands Engine, to technical absorb brands in 3 weeks leveraging from.:
  • Own Checkout
  • Component Library
  • Store features (Personalization, Cart Overlay, Volume Discount engine, freegift engine)

Extensibility Layer

  • Design and implement assessment and evaluation techniques for determining the stages of development and maturity, including balanced scorecard, SWOT analysis and quick winDesign and implement assessment and evaluation techniques for determining the stages of development and maturity, including balanced scorecard, SWOT analysis and quick wins
  • Serve as a tech evangelist and subject matter expert to the business stakeholders.
  • Analysis of the customer’s business and the performance of current products and services, and identifying and prioritizing improvements working side by side with PO.
  • Plan the releases with detailed release schedules that are agreed with main stakeholders. Releases may comprise many different components, including infrastructure, software, documentation, training, and tools.
  • Continual improvement: Align the organization’s practices and services with changing business needs through the ongoing identification and improvement of IT products, services, service components, practices, or any element involved in the efficient and effective management of products and services.
  • Business analysis: Analyze a business or some element of it, define its associated needs, and recommend solutions to address these needs and/or solve a business problem, which must facilitate value creation for stakeholders.
  • Release management: Make new and changed services and features available for use.
  • Problem management: Reduce the likelihood and impact of incidents by identifying actual and potential causes of incidents, and managing workarounds and known errors.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general.
  • Serve as a tech evangelist and subject matter expert to the business stakeholders.

  • Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on:
  • Manage the effective execution of each project understanding business contexts, needs and deadlines.
  • Solve problems and initiate collaboration within the team; anticipate, identify and actively resolve issues.
  • Oversee quality of project delivery and ongoing performance against objectives, to ensure satisfaction is fully met.
  • Monitor Performance KPIs and mitigate any risk.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions with the cross functional teams setting the right expectations, outcomes and ensuring effectiveness and clear action items.
  • Analyze, adjust and improve workflows and processes in order to improve project efficiency and implementation.
  • Monitor new and emerging technologies and digital best practices and evaluate their relevance to our business.
  • Continually protect the best interests of the company, including staff/contractor allocation, budgets and expenses.
  • 4+ years experience as Technical Leader or Lead Architect
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce platform development
  • 4+ years of people management: Proven ability to effectively lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously; including multi-disciplinary team, budgets and schedule information.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with coding Node.js, and Golang.
  • Demonstrated experience in React or Shopify
  • Deeper understanding on Micro-Service Architecture, AWS, CI/CD.
  • Good problem solving skills and confidence when facing challenges to ensure the project is pushed forward without strict control from managers.
  • Sales & Communication skills to understand consumer psychology, user behavior to visualize and create products that fits audience needs.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Strong structured thinking skills as well as a proactive attitude
  • Fluent English.
