We are looking for a highly motivated developer to join and play a leading role in building next-generation applications for professional users in financial markets. You will work with multiple technologies such as JavaScript, Node.JS and AWS Lambda to build LSEG Workspace Platform. Key Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features with good quality, performance, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Be a major contributor to our agile and scrum practices
• Work as a team, flexible, proactive, well organized and focus on objectives with high standard and quality
• Seek out new technologies and ideas to make valuable contributions to our products or processes

Minimum Qualifications:

• Professional experience in software development
• Experienced in Front-end and web technologies
• Experienced in multi-tier web architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience developing web applications in client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, etc. 5+ years preferred
• 3+ years’ experience developing performance-critical applications that run in a production environment using one of the backend languages/frameworks such as .NET or NodeJS
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong experience in all aspects of client-side performance optimization
• Familiar with web standards and protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS and socket APIs in general
• Familiar with continuous build and integration and code management tools (GitLab, Git Pipeline and Jenkins)
• Proven technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Phenomenal communication and coordination skills
• Familiar with Agile methodology for software development cycle
• Good in both verbal and written in English
