Master in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred. Academic coursework should include basic analog integrated circuit design, digital circuit fundamentals, and programming languages and algorithms. We will consider those with only a Bachelor's degree in related field with an excellent academic record with with 2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test development.
This position is for a junior-level engineer with career growth opportunities through on-the-job training. Candidate must be motivated to learn and work under the guidance of senior engineers. Must have good written and oral communication skills, excellent teamwork skills and strong analytical skills and have a self-starter attitude.
The position requires hands-on work in a lab environment. As a test engineer, you will be using Teradyne testers to develop test programs for new products. You will be working on mixed-signal test development of high-end converters, power management circuits, specialized sensors and complex digital architectures on new silicon. You will be working on wafer level and package level testing. Please highlight any such experience you may already have.
You will be involved in ATE hardware design from schematic to layout, therefore PCB design experience is a plus.
Candidates should also have demonstrable working knowledge of Unix, Perl and Python.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $105,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
