Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for experienced Certified Athletic Trainers to join our team. The Athletic Trainer will work in the Hartford area to support local high school athletic programs. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a school environment supporting student athletes in practices and competition. Must be available afternoons, evenings and weekends.

  • Contributes to overall quality of care through performing screenings, on-field treatments, and triaging of injuries. Responsible for all student-athletes and competition coverage at assigned schools.
  • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with school and athletic administrators, colleagues, and students. 
  • Understanding computer-based applications (email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office). 
  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork, ability to ensure appropriate care follow-up.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program. 
  • Experience: Varied clinical experience desired, but will consider a new graduate
  • Licensure: Certified athletic trainer (NATA)
  • Certification: CPR and First Aide
  • Job Skills: Applied knowledge: diagnosing and evaluating symptoms, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
