About InvestigateTV+ en Español:

InvestigateTV+ en Español is a bilingual extension of Gray TV’s InvestigateTV, which is an English-language national award-winning investigative program that is distributed across 113 TV markets in the US. The newly launched bilingual version of InvestigateTV+ will feature investigations from Gray TV’s award-winning InvestigateTV unit, consumer, health and original content curated from Gray’s expansive number of news stations.

InvestigateTV+ en Español will be produced out of Atlanta, GA, and distributed to 15 Telemundo stations across the US. Ideal candidates will have a passion for producing and informing the community through credible journalism.

Job Summary/Description:

InvestigateTV+ en Español is looking for a Bilingual Anchor/Producer to host a Spanish-language newsmagazine show centered on investigative journalism. Anchor/Producer will be part of team that transposes highly engaging, in-depth, and innovative English language investigations into premium Spanish-language content with a high level of accuracy in translations.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong storytelling ability and on-air presence; must possess excellent on-air delivery.
  • Works with a teamwork mentality to create a high-quality Spanish-language newsmagazine show tailored for a national Hispanic audience.
  • Must have a strong ability to translate English to Spanish and write/produce with the highest level of accuracy.
  • Must possess strong editorial judgment and ethics.
  • Experience collaborating between Spanish and English language newsrooms is a plus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS/BA in journalism or communications
  • At least 5 years of experience in television
  • Ability to produce compelling programming
  • Knowledge of local news and newscast production a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with ENPS, BitCentral and digital content management systems
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Candidate speaks and writes both English and Spanish.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
