Position summary
As part of the EDS Team, the Analyst supports the implementation of a robust analytics capability that measures the success of marketing campaigns and provides visibility of the impact/value of the investments to the leadership and the business. Along with providing operational support as needed, the Analyst has knowledge of the brand, marketing and communications objectives, tactics and measures and experience with marketing analytics tools.
Besides analysing the impact of priority campaigns, the Senior Analyst also helps define strategic reporting and analytics processes for campaigns and is the main analytics advisor providing consulting support on how to develop SMART objectives and how to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Additionally, the Analyst also produces meaningful KPI dashboards and delivers monthly, cross-channel performance reports with in depth actionable insights and future recommendations.
The Analyst is responsible for producing digital performance dashboards and delivering monthly, cross-channel performance reports with insights.
This role requires:
- Strong understanding of the various marketing technologies and their data and reporting capabilities
- Creation of wireframes to present dashboards and reports in the best possible way to various types of stakeholders
- Managing standardization and uniformization of BMC’s analytics reporting and dashboard capabilities
- Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing the end-products and underlying data use
- Working hand-in-hand with the technical teams implementing databases and data integrations
Roles and responsibilities
Essential job functions
- Ability to translate business requirements and functional requirements into visual data elements and user experiences for internal audiences
- Create compelling data visualizations and business dashboards based on analytical data from multiple BMC and other technologies
- Standardize BMC dashboarding and reporting function and user experiences
- Closely align with the BMC Senior Analysts and business stakeholders to support translating business requirements and data requirements into compelling visualisations
- Develop interactive marketing dashboards using a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
- Work on all BMC data collection platforms (website,sharepoint, video, advertising, social, CRM, etc.), identify and report improvement areas
- Proactively identify tracking details that can improve reporting capabilities and enable more advanced analyses.
- Collaborate with our Product, UX, and Technology teams to proactively build and execute a delivery pipeline and drive incremental improvements via a continuous experimentation approach
Desirable functions
- Improve, complete and maintain the fundamental data tracking systems and processes in each of our external and internal brand, marketing and communications channels
- Provide training for the teams on the use of the various analytics tools required to report on the BMC performance and how to access and interpret the data

- Use of data visualisation and reporting systems such as Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire
- Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodologies
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and concepts such as Sprinklr, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, social listening and tag management

- Experience in tools like SSIS, SQL server and Data handling.
