ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst with 2-3 years of relevant industry experience. As a BI Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex datasets to extract valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Your primary skills should include expertise in SQL, a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, and exposure to any business intelligence (BI) tool. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analysis, data visualization, and a good understanding of business processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data mappings, and documentation for data warehouse projects.
  • Design and build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using a BI tool to present insights to stakeholders. Good to have exposure to Looker tool.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, data optimization, and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business intelligence developers, to ensure data availability, consistency, and reliability.

Skills & RequirementsWHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 2+ years of Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • 2+ years of Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Having experience of using business intelligence (BI) tools, such as Looker, will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices to effectively communicate insights.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data integration principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Experience working Python or any programming language.
  • Exposure to Apache Airflow
