ENERGY – Early Talent Rotational Program: Legal & Compliance Specialist

This is a pilot program that LG is starting July 2023. This program allows you to learn and work in various jobs or departments throughout the company. It will also help you understand LG’s many moving parts and determine where YOUR skills best fit in. In this role you will work in 4 different departments, each for a period of 6 months. During this time you will be interacting with different managers and working on different projects over a TWO YEAR period. This role will be a “Specialist Track” working directly with the Legal & Compliance Organization at LG.

We are looking for a team player who will under lawyer supervision r otate through the following legal groups:

  • (1) Business to Consumer (B2C) Legal supporting Home Appliances and Home Entertainment business units
  • (2) Business to Business (B2B) and Corporation Operations Legal supporting various business units, including Business Solutions, Air Conditioning Technologies, Vehicle Solutions, and Human Resources
  • (3) Privacy and Digital Platform Legal supporting privacy, information security, ecommerce, and other digital business activities
  • (4) Product Safety Legal

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal client and support groups, including in the U.S. and the Korean headquarters
  • Draft and review legal correspondence and other legal documents
  • Organize and maintain documents in different databases
  • Conduct and assist with legal research as needed
  • Provide administrative support to senior attorneys
  • Assist in special projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 0-2 years experience MAXIMUM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel and PPT in particular)
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
